Our Verdict

6/10: fast enough to shortlist, custodial enough to think twice

Bottom line: Polycop is genuinely fast (only Kreo beat it in our execution tests), but its team holds users' private keys, and that custody model is the main reason it isn't our top recommendation.

What Is Polycop?

Polycop is a Telegram-based Polymarket copy trading bot that automatically mirrors trades from wallets you choose to follow. You fund a wallet the bot creates for you, point it at a Polymarket trader whose positions you want to mirror, and Polycop copies their entries into your own account as they happen, the same way copy trading on Polymarket works generally, just automated inside a chat app.

Everything runs from one Telegram menu: copy trading with both limit and market orders, an AFK auto trade mode that keeps mirroring without manual confirmation, market browsing, position management, and a wallet section for deposits and withdrawals. Limit orders matter more than they sound: they cap the price you'll accept on a copied entry, which is your main defence against buying worse odds than the trader you follow.

The one structural fact to understand before anything else: the wallet Polycop trades from is created and key-managed by the Polycop team, not by you. That custody model shapes the entire review, and it's covered in depth in the next section. Polycop finished second overall in our ranking of the best Polymarket Telegram bots, ahead of Polygun and Polycool and behind only Kreo.

Is Polycop Safe? Security and Custody Explained

The question that decides whether any copy trading bot is safe isn't whether it has been hacked; it's who holds the keys to the wallet it trades from. Here's where Polycop stands on that question, and exactly what we can and can't verify.

Who controls the keys. Polycop's own team holds users' private keys directly rather than routing through non-custodial infrastructure like Privy or Gnosis Safe, and team-held keys are the custody model behind every confirmed bot exploit we've tracked. It does at least use Gnosis wallets, which is why it scores above zero rather than at the bottom. In practical terms: Polycop is not non-custodial. Whoever holds a wallet's private keys ultimately has withdrawal power over it, so your funds depend on the Polycop team's honesty and operational security, not just on your own.

What we can verify. We have no confirmed report of a Polycop exploit, and the bot executed our test trades reliably. We're also not aware of a published third-party security audit for Polycop, so there's no independent assessment to point to either way. The absence of incidents is genuinely worth something, but it isn't a guarantee, and it's not the same evidence a non-custodial architecture provides by design.

Why the score is 2/10. The score reflects structure, not incidents. Every confirmed bot exploit we've tracked in this market (roughly $300,000 across two bots) happened with team-held keys, the same custody category Polycop sits in. Its use of Gnosis wallets is why it scores above zero rather than at the bottom.

Before you deposit

Treat a Polycop balance as an exposure to the team, not just to the market. Deposit only what you'd accept losing entirely, start near the $50 minimum rather than well above it, and withdraw profits periodically instead of letting the balance build.

Polycop Execution Speed: How Fast Is It?

Speed is the whole point of a copy trading bot: the faster it mirrors the wallet you follow, the closer your entry price is to theirs, and it's where Polycop earns its place on any shortlist.

Our speed score comes from hands-on comparative testing: we run the same copy trading setup on each bot we review and compare how quickly each one mirrors the source wallet's trades. We don't currently publish raw timing figures, so treat the scores as a relative ranking across the bots we've tested rather than absolute latency claims.

Polycop landed just behind Kreo in every execution test we ran, consistently among the fastest bots in this comparison. In practice that means the slippage between the trader you copy and your own fills stayed small throughout our testing. The gap to Kreo's 10/10 was measurable but never large, and the gap to everything below it was.

Usability · 6.5/10

Polycop Ease of Use: Is the Telegram Bot Easy to Use?

We time how long it takes a first-time user to go from opening a bot to placing a copied trade, because a bot you can't navigate confidently is a bot you'll misuse under pressure.

Polycop took noticeably longer to learn than the top-rated bots, and a $50 minimum deposit stands between a new user and their first copy trade, a barrier we didn't run into on the other bots here. The menu does put everything in one place (copy trading, AFK auto trade, wallet and positions), but discovering how the pieces fit takes more trial and error than it should, especially next to Kreo's every-feature-is-a-button layout.

Polycop Fees and Minimum Deposit

Polycop's costs are simple, and mostly competitive. Its documentation lists a flat 0.5% transaction fee on trades; there's no subscription, and it doesn't charge gas fees on top.

CostWhat you pay
Trading fee0.5% flat per trade, per Polycop's documentation
SubscriptionNone
Gas feesNone charged on trades
Minimum deposit$50 before you can start copy trading

Last verified August 2026 against Polycop's documentation. Fees and minimums can change, so check the bot before depositing.

The real barrier is the $50 minimum depositbefore copy trading unlocks. Fifty dollars isn't a large sum, but it forces your first test to be $50 or more inside a custody model where we'd rather see you start smaller, and Polycop is the only bot in our copy trading bot roundup that imposes a minimum at all.

Polycop vs Kreo: Which Polymarket Bot Is Better?

Kreo is Polycop's closest rival (they finished first and second on execution speed in our testing), and the comparison is the clearest way to see what you're trading off by choosing Polycop.

Scores reflect our own hands-on testing across both bots.

The honest framing isn't "speed versus safety": Kreo was slightly faster and non-custodial in our testing, with no minimum deposit and a web version alongside Telegram. What Polycop offers is near-identical speed with a different set of compromises, so the case for it rests on preference rather than a category it outright wins. If those two are your shortlist, our full Kreo vs Polycop head-to-head settles it round by round, and our bot comparison pageputs both alongside every other bot we've tested.

Who Should Use Polycop?

We can't rule Polycop out for traders who value speed above everything else, but the custody model is a real risk, not a minor footnote. Most people are better served by a bot that doesn't require that trade-off.

If that trade-off reads as acceptable to you (you want raw copy speed inside Telegram, you understand the team holds your keys, and you're sizing your deposit accordingly), Polycop delivers on the speed. If you're new to copy trading entirely, start with our step-by-step copy trading guide before connecting any bot.

How We Review Polymarket Bots

Every bot review on Polymarket Academy uses the same process: we set each bot up ourselves, run it hands-on, and score it against the same criteria. Scores are comparable across reviews: a 9.5 on speed here means the same thing it means in our Kreo coverage.

Execution speed

How quickly the bot detects and mirrors trades from the wallet you follow, tested hands-on alongside the other bots we cover.

Security

Custody model, private-key handling, wallet infrastructure, and any incident history we can actually verify.

Usability

How easily a first-time user can go from opening the bot to completing a copy trade, without reading documentation.

Fees

Trading fees, subscriptions, minimum deposits and any other costs that eat into copied returns.

Overall

A weighted editorial assessment based on the four factors above. Referral fees never influence scores or rankings.

Where a fact can change over time (fees, minimum deposits, supported platforms, custody model), we note when it was last verified and against what source. Where we can't verify something, we say so rather than filling the gap.

Polycop FAQ

Safety is Polycop's weak spot. It doesn't use third-party wallet infrastructure: the team itself holds users' private keys, offset only partly by its use of Gnosis wallets. We have no confirmed report of a Polycop exploit, but this same team-held-keys setup has been behind several bot exploits in this market, which is why it scores 2/10 on security in our testing.
